Chess Club
SCCA's Chess Club meets regularly throughout the academic year. Children from 1st grade and up participate. The chess club competes with other schools and enters tournaments. This is a popular club and well attended by many SCCA students.
Chess club is coached by Mr. Jesse Rao who is also a Math/Science/Logic teacher in SCCA’s dialectic school. In addition Mr. Rao is nearing a ranking as a chess expert and runs several other chess clubs throughout the Philadelphia region.
