Admissions Procedure

Stratford Classical Christian Academy admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin.

Qualifications: At least one of the  prospective Parents or legal guardians must be a member in good standing at a protestant evangelical church(in some board approved cases Roman Catholics are permitted).


Application Process:

  1. Because class size is typically limited to 19 students, families are encouraged to apply early.

  2. An application should be filled out and submitted to the school office. 

  3. Only one application per family is necessary.

  4. Parents should read the Statement of Faith.

  5. Parents should read theParent Student Hanbook.  A copy will be given upon submission of application.

  6. An application fee of $250 is required. 

  7. Interviews, Testing, and Application review will not occur until receipt of $250 application fee.


Interview/Acceptance Process:

  1. Parents submit an enrollment application with the $250 per family non refundable application fee along with the SCCA financial aid application and 3rd Party Financial Evaluation online application(FFNA).

  2. An interview and student testing will be scheduled within 10 days of receipt of your application.  Financial aid will only be considered after a family has applied, been interviewed, and the child(ren) tested.

  3. The Headmaster will interview both parents.  If special circumstances exists please not them on your application.

  4. Students are required to take a grade placement test at this time, usually during the same time as the parent interview.  Students are placed based on ability first and age is a secondary consideration.

  5. The Headmaster will make a final recommendation to the admissions committe concerning the acceptance of the student(s).

  6. Upon approval of Headmaster's recommendation the parents will be notified within 2 - 3 weeks whether or not their child(ren) has been accepted. This notification will include any financial aid. 

  7. Once parents receive notification of acceptance, they have 15 days to do the following:

    1. Sign and return the Parent-Academy Covenant. (See Parent-Academy Covenant in appendix of Parent-Student Handbook)

    2. Send in the non-refundable deposit. (10% of tuition).

Once the following has taken place your child(ren) will be considered enrolled:

  • Non refundable deposit.(10% of tuition)

  • Signed Parent/Academy Covenant is received

  • 10-day withdrawal period has expired


Post enrollment information:

After acceptance and enrollment, you will receive:

1. School uniform information
2. School calendar
3. Parent/Teacher Fellowship information
4. Parent/Student Handbook
5. Invitation to Academy Pool Party and other pertinent information pertaining to your child's successful transition into Stratford Classical Christian Academy
